Yep, still going ahead. I am going to start sending out regular(ish) updates by group email, but I can't easily do that through PH. Could you all drop me a mail through my profile then I have your email addresses, and I can start spamming (hehe) you.

Current plan (in my head) is to use the Poole-Cherbourg route which is what Bob planned for us all this year. We need to think about which days we go and come back, but I have to say that the whole week is an experience worth doing since there are various parties on the Houx site leading up to the weekend, and then there is driver's parade night on Friday. So, I propose Tuesday->Tuesday.

Ferry tickets (Brittany Ferries) based on a return for two people in a car are currently running at £240 which isn't too bad.

Why don't you go on speed ferries from Dover for £50?

TBH, Dunkerque adds another 50 miles each way compared with Boulogne. Id rather pay the tenner.
OTOH, £320 to Caen or £50 plus a cheap B&B is an easy choice as I can't sleep well on ferries. I'd rather drive the extra but have a good nights sleep.

ALL: YHM.

Please check and get back to me, as I need to get details to Rich A.S.A.P!

P.s. REALLY GOOD NEWS! I can't make the meet on Sunday at Wighill as Sally and I have just found out that we are going to have a baby and have to go and see family at the weekend to celebrate the end of our lives as we know it!

Well gents (and ladies) the form was posted on Sat morning so fingers crossed! Rich and I have decided that it is just simpler if I handle it, so I have sent the form off in my name. So, assuming the booking is OK, I'll need deposit money soon of some of you (just the drivers as it is £50 per pitch). I'll let you know

Getting excited...!

Yup! Had a phone call from the club office today, they are running a strict one pitch per member this year and I had only submitted six numbers (two tickets per member), but I managed to get them to look up Tom's and John H's number.

Everything is looking good

p.s. T Minus 155 Days (i think)....
