er I think there's going to be a bit of confusion here!

The "car park" at Bolton Abbey is usually referred to as the one down by the side of the river, which has room for about :scratchchin" oooh 10,000 cars!

Hence my earlier comment about kicking balls about, throwing frizbees, paddling in the river and having barbeques.

Basically it is just the big open grass area along the river side and there is shed loads of space for us to pick our own spot and line up as many cars as we like.

The one up by the Strid is just a normal car park used by people visiting the Strid. i think we may over crowd it.

Yep, it's the one at the side of the river, one big Field, loads of space. There are even tree's to hug . I don't mean the one near the shop, or the one at the strid. That would make it the middle car park then (Sorry for the sarchasam, it's been a dull day).

Just look out for a silver Maserati. I'll park somewhere nice. I am hoping to pop down next weekend to see if a can get a few ideas of where to park. I'll post the pictures on here to help.

Sadly I will not be able to make the meet. My Tuscan will not be back from Blackpool until the 21st at the earliest.

Dohhhh!.

Why don't you come in the HHC courtesy car? Do they still use the Yellow Cinquecento sporting, with red seat belts .

Otherwise i'll see you at the next one.

I don´t have a car, courtesy or otherwise, until the Tuscan returns. Will have to be the next one.

Only just seen this thread, but how about for future meetings going to Harewood Hillclimb - just along the road from Harewood House (no association between the two apart from the name and location). As well as a get together there is some excellent motorsport to watch at the UK's longest hillclimb course. Dates for the remainder of this year are:
Sunday April 11th
Saturday May 15th
Sunday May 16th
Sunday June 6th
Saturday & Sunday, July 3rd & 4th
Sunday August 1st
Sunday August 29th
Saturday September 18th
Sunday September 19th

It may even be possible to get a group entry discount.

In the meantime - I will try to get to Bolton Abbey.

Andy
