My Chims had the stone chips blown over by the previous owner. They've done an ok job, but it needs sorting properly.
I've checked with TVR but they can't give me a paint match, as they only have a colour recoreded and no matching reference!
Any advice on paint match and or spray shop?

Ignor if i'm raising something your already aware of, but the paint code and colour name is usually written in the front of your owners handbook (the black leather bound one). This usually includes all the cars details including trim references and vital reference numbers. If you give these details to any TVR dealer, they should be able to find some paint, just make sure your car hasn't been resprayed a different colour in the past though

Hi, if you check on the chassis plate under the bonnet the 'body code'is the paint code. If it begins P422 then it is an ICI number, and other codes denote a different paint manufacturer. You could try the supplying dealer who may have a record of the paint colour. I hope that this helps. Best regards, Tony Abrams

Thanks.
Checked the handbook already, but it just has a colour name; no reference.
I will check the chasis plate. I am not sure from memory, but i think it does have a P422 number.
What does ICI number mean?
Cheers

hexhamhc, I eventually clicked with ICI!
It is a P422 number. Will any paint spray company recognise the number?
