After enjoying the Lincs Hoon (was it only me that noticed the 'yellow bellies' barking at the full moon just before the sun came up?) so much, I thought it about time to pick a date, work out another splendid camera free (Gaz) route, to finish at a convenient breakfast location.

The route will probably be less than 2 hours, something around 100 miles and if you're in a TVR, make sure the lights work ok or fit some kind of driver aid sonar

So, interested?

The route's 140 miles, autoroute suggests 2h 50m (more of a guide than a target ) starting at a petrol station and finishing at a breakfast stop. Takes in some new and some of my old favourite bits of finest, sinewy twisting asphalt.

So far I think we have

Stu
r5gttgaz
Rods
Gemini (poss)
Burriana
RRalston
Mad dog1968
Willyworm
P1Carl

Start location and time by e-mail only, so contact me through my profile please.

Anyone near Leeds I could rendevous with the rusty range rover?

Rog, I'm fighting the urge to mention dogging sites (do you call it Range Rover 'cos it's '4x4' & you're a natural ginger) eek.

Anyway, try asking Satch as I think he's the only one from that direction coming at the moment.

I might be there with just 133 bhp (in a 170kg projectile)

I've been out this lunchtime to recce the first quarter of the route and I'm very happy to say that it ticks all the boxes very nicely.

This one's going to be like a 4 course meal;

The 'new' starter is a reasonable plate, enough to give a delicate hint of many varieties of corner, crest, sweep, gradient and straight.

For the main course, which is just plain awesome, it'll be a large piece of prime steak, to get you working, your pulse racing and which will demand all of your focus to finish it off. Just don't try to accompany it with an inappropriate Red Wine!

There'll be a 'toilet break' for V Power after this section and a spot of nose powdering for the ladies

When we've got our breath back and re-charged our driving 'mojo', a full on huge full fat desert of Yorkshire's very quick open & well sighted roads will follow for sustained hoonage of the highest quality. None of your homogenised Belgian roads on this bit of the menu Mr Fat Cat L'EuroCrat!

The coffee & fondant will be a return to flatter, slightly less challenging regions to finish the gorging off nicely, making sure eveyone's appetite is fully satiated.

Finally we'll be alighting at a suitable greasy spoon with plenty of safe off road parking.

Not that I'm looking forwards to this in the slightest.

Start location and time will be e-mailed out only to those that have e-mailed me, at the end of next week and not before.

whats the appoximate location for this run is it in yorkshire?

Yes!

I'd expect us to be at the 'brake-fast' stop by about 9.30 am

Rich, sorry, but your car's gonna have to be an honorary 'White Rose' edition if you want to come and play!

Now you guys, quit with the puns - Michelin rofl my ribs are still hurting.
