HAHAHA! Love the picture.
Great fun tonite chaps. Should keep it semi-regular.
Thought the centre was fantastic. Very professional. The facilities - the karts, the main room looking onto the track, even the race overalls, all excellent
Cheers to Malcolm for organising the night. Much success!

It certainly doesn't hurt as much as Larbert.
Well run as ever, my only negative would be that if you are on the outside of the grid, you're humped. (guess who had three outside grid starts)
Also kart 18 was an understeery bugger.
Still had a great time, as I think we all did, big to Malcolm for organising.

had a great night, thanks to Malcolm for organising it.
the track at newbridge is 100 times better than the one in larbert. Far more chances for overtaking or being overtaken.
it's also much kinder to my frail body. i have no aches or pains atall today and i
have the pain threshold of a new born lamb.
my only gripe is that i got pure crap starting positions for both heats 9th and 8th what's that all about! did some mistake me for being good or something.

Sounds interestin. Tell me more.
Glasgow so I don't have to endure the M8 :-)A team endurance race of 90 minutes - 3 in a team - all must drive. 15 mins qualifying per team then a rolling start and 90 minutes non-stop.
If we get similar numbers to last night we could easily book our own event. Teams could be friends or drawn from a hat - whatever way it's done, it means 30 mins seat time ( non-stop if your mad enough)

That sounds great. Where in Glasgow?A team endurance race of 90 minutes - 3 in a team - all must drive. 15 mins qualifying per team then a rolling start and 90 minutes non-stop.

I thought the event was great, another cheers to Malcolm for organising it.
Feedback on the centre:
- track layout was good, although wide it was still technical so lines mattered, longer run to the first corner might be useful, if you're at the back on the outside you pretty much have to hang back and hope for carnage
- gantry and glass viewing areas were prob the best I've seen
- possibly needs some sega rally to fill some spare space
- format works well, weren't sitting around too long ever
Karts:
- waaaaaay better than scotkart
- in the middle foam pads would be good, I'm too skinny without but too rotund for the full size pads hence I have massive knee bruises from clinging on to the steering column bars!
- some did have their problems (#3 pulls right big style) but reckon you'll always get that the number of thumps they were taking!
Thinks that's about it

LOL mark, I was far from the quickest :P getting heavy in my old age !Excellent facility that will only improve once its finished!
The karts are far superior to any other indoor centre that I've been to.
I'd make a few changes to the circuit personally.
Thanks to the OP for organising it

Alistair can you PM me those pictures please mate? When you upload them using the pistonheads uploader, the quality goes out the window
Quality ain't great due to high ISO setting but since you're probably not the only one wanting them I've zipped up the group and podium photos and put them here.I'll try to get something presentable out of the action shots but they're mostly on the blurred side of arty...
