Reg SF58NYC
You've always got to tell us the colour, if possible. If we can read the number plate, it's usually too f*****g late!!Reg SF58NYC
ETA - a reg check shows 'SF58NYC' as a MAN TGS 26.440 6X2/2 LX BL T, Colour: WHITE) - must be a digit wrong in the reg given...

That'll be a twin steer LGV artic unit.Edited by monthefish on Monday 31st May 09:13
Which reminds me, the Brummie Traffic Police have a marked, silver Scania artic unit with blue beacons to draw alongside other LGV's at speed on the motorways (I bet they haven't got a 90 kph speed limiter). The passenger cop has a hand-held video camera to record perceived heinous offences in the alleged truck cab like the driver drinking water, sneezing and other more pertinent infringements.

And presumably its the same one that was reported on the previous page on the M77 and A77.
So my question is do these unmarked cars swap divisions all the time or is there a separate unit that would patrol from Shawhead on the A725 all the way to M and A77?
What are the traffic divisions? I know Motherwell has one, where is the next one heading west?

Cars are swapped between divisions but they also swap number plates to stop threads like this ousting them.So my question is do these unmarked cars swap divisions all the time or is there a separate unit that would patrol from Shawhead on the A725 all the way to M and A77?

Not going back 9 pages, to see if this has been posted before, but if you are on Kintore bypass they sit up the slip road which comes down in the middle of the bypass heading towards Inverurie. Either that or they sit on the first roundabout joining the Kintore bypass, or at Thainstone Mart.
The mobile van usualy sits just after Thainstone Mart roundabout heading towards Inverurie.
I now await to be picked on! lol lol

How dare you bring useful information to the thread. ( )
(Strictly speaking the thread is about the details of unmarked cars, and the region in which they operate)

To be completely honest they are usually easily spotted, and give you plenty of time to slow down... not really a trap, more of a friendly reminder IMO... The mobile van usualy sits just after Thainstone Mart roundabout heading towards Inverurie.
