Just waiting for Hemibum to suggest the Old Mill Inn,biggrin Me on the other hand, I'm not fussy
Nah, bit out of the way for most. + cliquish regularsfrown Happy to drive in and taxi back.

Palm Court's good for me too.
Alastair / Barry,

OMI would be good for me (a cliquish regular). One of the owners (Vic) is also a petrolhead (nice classic black 911). We used to have the local Impreza monthly meetings there and they were fine about tomfoolery in the carpark afterwards.

They'll also do chips if you give them a bit of notice that there's a crowd coming.

In my experience, the Palm Court carpark is pretty full from teatime onwards.

Just my tuppenceworth - don't know if I'll be able to make it.

Cheers,

Eric smile

I'm assuming its the Old Mill Inn in Maryculter? (postcode is AB12 5FX for those who asked)

Or Palm Court, which is Seafield Road (postcode AB15 7YX)

Or, ASBO's suggestion (and mine as it's just round the corner biggrin) Ferryhill House Hotel, which is Bon Accord Street (postcode AB11 6UA)

My preference is either Ferryhill or Palm Court as they're both in town, and i'd like to have a couple of beers and avoid driving if possible biggrin. Also, both do bar food.

however, i'm happy to go with the group decision!!

Kiltie, Aye I know Vic and his Porsche well. I'm in there most evenings. The J D C or J E C had a meeting a couple of weeks ago with a really nice C type in the car park.

I'll go with the consensus thoughsmile Palm Court or Ferryhill.

Yes, the JEC meet there at least a couple of times a year (I'm a member). The C-type, lovely as it is, is a replica.

Wow!! Here's me thinking that someone left £250,000 worth of C Type unattended in a car park!!wink

Also, that was the only identifiable car from the club that evening.frown

Ok ok ok soooo.

Vote time. Only names we are having is either Ferryhill or Palm Court laugh

I am ok with either as long as I can get an MR2 in the carpark. But I will go with the flow.

SO get voting. drink

I vote Ferryhill, as it's a 30 second walk from my house biggrin
Parking can be found on Bon Accord Street and Fonthill Road, as the car park tends to be a bit full.

However, if Palm Court is easier for the majority, i'm happy to go there as it's a 5 minute drive/30 minute walk, and if i'm honest i could do with the exercise paperbag

Lol.

I could always let a couple of folks use the visitors spaces at my flat. I'm just off fonthill road. 2 min walk to the ferryhill

You wouldn't by any chance happen to live in the same block of flats as ASBO would you? ? If so, i live in the white townhouses diagonally across from them. That's 3 PHers within 100 yeards of each other!
