We had posted this on another thread but the heading 'next scottish run' wasn't too clear so thought would repost using a more appropriate heading

Plan is early start from Bothwell services at 8 am and have a run for about 150 miles finishing before 12 over some nice roads in ayrshire wtc.

Those who previously posted to go are:

Glasgow
Steelej - F430
Stablelad - Swine 964 C2
Andrew[MG] - FTO
Alfa Pint - Alfa Romeo Spider
M1key - 968 CS and/or Elise 111R
6C4GTS - 996 C4S
Angelus - 928 S4
350ZStephen - 350z GT

Edinburgh
ferobert - CRX SiR

Kilmarnock
ScottMc91 - 996

Kilwinning
D6GMB - Z4M (TBC)

And yes Andrew and I will try not to get us all/ourselves lost again!!

For the blondes amongst us, only 5 more sleeps to go!

Plan is an early start leaving from Bothwell services at 8ish. Having a breakfast coffee and bacon rolls in Moffat; then a wee tour of Ayrshire an back up here by 12ish.
Andrew and I are meeting again this week just to do finishing plans. Andrew will memorise the junctions which we agree and wont have any more blonde moments and take half the car off somewhere else and i will memorise the landmarks which we agree and wont go off for miles on the wrong road! In other words different from normal!

I may be up for this also.

Going to Dumfries to watch Falkirk so I might make a day of it.

Still trying to make it. Should have the engine back together by then, so a nice long run to test it out should be good.

Going to have to pull out from this I'm afraid - got a call yesterday requiring crew to race on my mate's boat and he's pretty desperate.

Hopefully I will come along to this as a newbie (but just need to confirm tonight there are no Saturday family commitments).
Flipflop posted a link to this run on scottishelises.com. Bought an Elise this summer i have been out a few runs with other scottishelise guys including flipflop.

Got an idea of the run and anything I need to know about joining you ?

What time do you expect to be in Moffat for?
Youngest daughters 2nd birthday on 23rd,but have been told to take her and her 4yr old sister out for a couple of hours in the morning while Mrs sets up for the party!
I'm near Lockerbie.

hi
happy to have newbies along.

usual rules:
1. No nissan Micras
2. Absolutlely no Nissan Micras
3. We do food
4. no crazy driving
5. slowest anyone should go is above Nissan Micra speed
6. fastest anyone requires or is expected to go is the speed limit

Should be in Moffat for about 9.15 and going to the cafe beside the petrol station for bacon rolls and coffee. If you are looking for me, ask the staff to point me out or look for an ugly badly dressed person! (my daughters description)

9.15 should be spot on.
I was on the Borders run last month[red Monaro].
BTW we're in the same game workwise. Did your partner Stephen used to practice in Dumbarton?

Hi
Will have a chat when we meet. Stephen has always worked in Wishaw apart from the first year of his traineeship.

Think there is another with same name

Is that big Gavin Struthers? If so, I've known him since I was 11yrs old!
Paul,I think I have the wrong "Stephen". I do know Vincent though[think that might be a bad thing!].
