Looks more like the A726 to me, East Kilbride to Newton Mearns. Can't work out how you could even get on to the wrong carriage way.

Still think that the first thing I'd be doing is phoning the police, not videoing the fking thing.

Appears to have got away with it - there's been nothing in the news about a head on crash / car driving up the DC the wrong way.

I once witnessed an elderly gentleman driving the wrong way round a roundabout, but the nutter on that video appears to be doing it on purpose!

Very scary, this does look like the A726 as others have said, you can see the sign for Newton Mearns in the video. Looks like they have gone onto the wrong side of the road possibly at the roundabout at waterfoot/eaglesham heading toward the M77. No idea how you would manage that though!

Lucky noone was hurt and hopefully they find whoever was responsible

If you were on the wrong side you wouldn't be going 80mph though, the guy has clearly got a screw loose.
