Stop Press, as well as the MSA scrutineer present from 2.30pm to 4pm on Sunday, we will have scales available to weigh any SLS car (and driver!) at the Hot Hatch. So come along and chat about the championship, get a registration form, club membership form and the entry form for the first event too!
if you want more info and a wee face to face chat with KMSC head along to Knockhill

... free entry ...
KH website says it's £8.Paying to spectate at a trackday?

Murray and I were going to pop in past as we're delivering something to Dunfermline. He spotted this and so we decided not to bother.
An error surely? If not, it's taking greed to a whole new level of muppetry.

Cheers,
Eric

I think its the norm for KH to charge for spectators at HotHatch days... sometimes there is massive crowds, shows etc etc.
BUT it was FREE for those coming in to have a chat about SLS
Any interest here then?
Here is the paid entries so far, and there profiles/spec etc - http://superlapscotland.co.uk/drivers.htm
Here is the folk that have said the want to do it... http://trackscotland.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=...

414bhp... around 360whp? 1580kg with driver?
That would put you in class C
There is no separation for road-going / race car class etc. The ENTRY regs used are production, specialist production, modified, specialist modified and sports libre. They had to be used to get MSA approval.
Cars will still be classed in 4 power to weight classes (regardless of how they pass regulations S11, S12, S14)
Weight - car + driver + minimal fuel
Class A - >400bhp/tonne
Class B - 300-399bhp/tonne
Class C - 200-299bhp/tonne
Class D - < 200bhp/tonne
There is a class E stated in the regs but it seem that there is no need for it at this point. It would be <150bhp/tonne

Are these the remaining dates?
Summer Shootout Saturday 27 July Clockwise
Summer Shootout Sunday 28 July Anti-Clockwise
King of the Hill Sunday 1 September Clockwise
Considering it but depends on car readiness etc. Was supposed to have its first outing at Croft 8th June but it's still in bits at the moment in a workshop in Stoke... I might do this instead.
