I know there are a few members from Stonehaven on this forum, and even those who aren't might still appreciate these pictures I've taken of the castle.
Some of you may have seen them before as they have been posted in the photography forum, but I know not everyone looks in there, so I thought I'd share them here too smile

Awesome pictures, very good smile I DJ'd at a big party there a number of years back, that was the first and only time I'd been, have meant to go back and just look around ever since but never got round to it. Must sort that out...

I think I might make a few prints framed. Everyone seems to love it. It's been shared on facebook over 200 times which is a record for me.

I'm old fashioned (Age thing) and my photographer son gets really irked when I criticise Photoshopped images

Each to there own I suppose but too much tweaking for my liking

And for those of you who are on facebook, Dunnottar Castle is currently winning a little competition on Visit Scotland's page. If it wins, it will be entered into another competition to run for the 8th Wonder of the World but obviously the more votes it has, the better, so please click this link and click "like".

Simply stunning pictures, especially the 2nd one.

Quite processed, but I think they all work very well. Might pop down there for sunrise over the next few days with such glorious weather predicted biggrin
