I have really bad idling problems and have found that its my pcv valve/or not. I removed the pipe and valve and all seems free and working well.

When i place my finger over the pipe leading to the intake manifold it sucks which it should do.
However if i place my finger over the pcv chamber(which leads to the head) it also sucks. (So these two are pushing against each other)

Can anybody tell me if this sounds like a problem with the chamber or any suggestions at all.

When i place the pipe into the intake manifold and into the PCv chamber and run my car i get a vacuum in the engine.(NOT GOOD). It seems as if there's a block somewhere but as i've said the PCV valve seems in perfect working order........

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers
Dave

I've tried it under revs too and it also does the same. If i attatch the pcv valve into the chamber and into the intake manifold the car works perfect UNTIL..About 30 secs of running the car it makes a loud whirring noise and theres a lot of pressure being built up in the engine which leads me to think there may be a block somewhere??????????
