Steve - Don't sell your SEAC. From all the posts here over the past few months it clearly has given you alot of pleasure.

You could always get your car resprayed British Racing Green , like mine and Revs, then you'll find no one will give it a second look!

No seriously I hope you and your wife can get through this OK, but I'm sure it'll take a little time. Don't make any hasty decisions.

First of all I would like to thank all of you for the kind comments on and offline .The wife was involved in an armed robbery over a year ago, she has been on anti depressants since. Now this has happened I just don't know how she will cope, all I can hope is time will heal.
The wife loves where we live so I have been looking into CCTV, think this will help her feel safer.
Andy you seem to know me , I have been to a few doggy places and offered a large reward , I hope this pays off cos I have just bought a large baseball bat.
As for the SEAC, it has been locked away in a safe place and only I have the key. I think you know how much I love the car, I have left it to the wife if she will still go to the meets we will keep it .

Thank you all it means alot to us

You can't let the scumocracy win - they don't deserve that satisfaction. Someday somewhere sometime something really bad is going to happen to them, hopefully involving an iron bar and somebody in the criminal fraternity that they have really pee'd off - the only pity of this is that you won't have the satisfaction of witnessing it - in the meantime take your wife and your pride and joy away from Huddersfield, or with Valentines Day beckoning should that be your pride and joy and your car, and get back to basics. With everything that's been nicked you won't be feeling flush so head for the Lake District, the daffodils will be coming out soon, find a really nice simple B & B then get onto one of the high road passes, get out and breath in some fresh air, tell yourselves that you are going to be ok and realise that at least the two of you have each other... AND a bloody nice car. As for the rest it is just going to take time. Sorry if this all sounds a bit gushy - just the hopeless romantic in me. You really do need to get away from this for a couple of days so if you have kids dump them on the grandparents or anyone else who will have them and sod off. Good luck to you both. Look forward to seeing and hearing your car one day at a meet - it looks a beaut - I remember seeing a gorgeous red SEAC in London years ago driving through Knightsbridge and just thinking BLOODY HELL!

Steve

I can only echo the comments of everyone else. I hope you and the Mrs are able to put this terrible event behind you, and in time get back to enjoying what is a without doubt a great car.
