Cheers guy's..Hopefully there will be no surprises..I had a rebuilt low mileage V6 cologne fitted a little while ago so that should be ok..The main thing with a supercharger is making sure all the heads fit flat and good quality gaskets are used..And of course a strong healthy engine to start with is a must..I have instructed the garage to take pics of every little thing..They know me by now anyway so they probably wont get much done due to all the picture taking..hehe
Ralph..You do make me laugh mate..Better watch the missus dont catch you saying that or you might end up with a fox supper...eek...Cheers...Ziga

Mark,

What are you doing for fuel enrichment? And out of interest what CR are you aiming for?

Chris.

Hi Chris..The blower is set up to run low boost which i think is somewhere between 4-6psi, This set up was to run on a standard V6 cologne with no mods to fuel/Air and compression...I have had the heads worked to lower the compression to avoid any detonation but im not to sure what the CR is until i chat to him..I have used an ignition system called AMETHYST which utilises the existing dizzy..It also has a MAP sensor which im connecting to the plenum servo manifold instead of a check valve or drilliing the inlet manifold..It contains maps for various set ups for V6 engines and is also programmable..I have an adjustable WUR even though the all are in a sense when mine was refurbed it was done with the blower in mind..Im hopimg it will all go smoothly...Cheers...Ziga

Hi Peeps..Well i have been at the garage helping out with things for the last couple of days..The unleaded/Lowered compression heads are fitted..The stainless manifolds are on..The race alternator needed a bracket fabricated to fit it on the N/S..The belt tensioner for the blower that was supplied was the wrong one..we tried a pinto one on there and it fitted perfectly so the wheel had to be press out and the one i had pressed in as the pinto one was too small..The pipework for the blower is being routed round the front instead of behind the plenum..The EPS pump has been fitted in front of the rad on the plate that is below the rad..The washer bottle is fitted that i had cut down as it was too big..The ignition system is being fitted and the electrics are being done tomorrow..The only downside is that a couple of silicone reducers are having to be made and they wont be ready until wednesday..So looks like im stuck with the pishpot for a little longer...Cheers...Ziga

Coming along nicely Zig. Bet Delilahs voice will sound sweet once she's out of the op. can't wait to hear it. Hope she's all sorted soon mate. Must just say I admire the dedication you've put in on the girl and for sticking to your guns to go the supercharged route- many would have taken the simpler path of selling up and buying a bigger engined beast ( me included!) so good on ya
