Hi chaps,
Can anyone tell me where this goes on my 1984 TVR280i...
http://www.superpro.com.au/superpro-parts/?view=pa...
The website says it is for a Tasmin front end suspensions but I have my doubts, at least I don't recognise it from pulling the car apart...
I think I have all of the others sorted, so I will post the list for anyone interested once I'm certain.
Thanks, Toby

Thanks, I thought the lower tie rod bushes were these: http://www.superpro.com.au/superpro-parts/?view=pa... but I couldn't work out why there were 8 (unless the other 4 were used on the back of an A frame car?
Yep, top one looks like a cotton reel and the bottom ones fit either side of the leading link.
I think this is the top one: http://www.superpro.com.au/superpro-parts/?view=pa...

Thanks Zig, the four in the bottom left, are they the lower ARB to tie rod bushes? two items per side of the car? One above and one below the leading link?
Hi mate ...The lower left 4 (Blue) are for the bottom drop link to the leading link....
The ones to the right x 2 (Blue) are from the top drop link to ARB
The 4 in the middle (Black) are 1 x inner and 1 x outer for the leading link to chassis mount....The lip sits in the opening of the fixing...The big lipped washers will probably be rusted beyond use or elongated out of shape...They are hard to find now and the bush allows for this...However i do have The original 4 per side but need someone to make some more...Hope this helps...Ziga
Whoops forgot the top ones..The 2 x Blue are for the ARB..The steel tubes are for the black bushes below...

looking at these instead of rubber after reading that thread...thanks. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/360753289912?_trksid=p2...
Front diff mounting bush seems to be L 42mm (clip length) ID 13mm OD 38mm. Would be good if the person you recall could get in contact.

Yes I shall be using that site for reference during he construction phase of my project.
BTW I found the bush and RT has them in Nylon for 20 squid.
That completes the hunt for bushes, I've got 'em all on the way (poly not rubber) for $660 AUD (350GBP). That includes 4 trailing arm/diff bushes and all the suspension and steering ones except the chassis rear tie rod pair which look fine.

Sounds a billy bargain to me. Looking forward to the rebuild photos. Hope all the TET bits and pieces arrive safely and the rebuild is painless. Cheers.BTW I found the bush and RT has them in Nylon for 20 squid.
