Tasmin S1 Fuses
Discussion
I can tell you what mine is after I worked it out, but there's no guarantee it will be the same as yours...
Numbered from the TOP of fusebox, mine are
1 - main beam
2 - dip beam
3 - side lights
4 - passenger window motor
5 - drivers window motor
6 - Fuel pump
7 - drivers pod lift motor
8 - passenger pod lift motor
9 - other ignition stuff (horn, flashers, indicators)
10 - heater motor
11 rear brake lights, washer, wiper, etc
12 - not used
On my fusebox, one side has fuses 3 to 8 joined together, which is live battery feed, and
9-11 as ignition from the slave relay (= ign key on)
Relays are in two rows of five -
top row, from front
starter motor | horn | Fuel pump 1 | Fuel pump 2 | Ignition (slave)
bottom row
Driver pod | passenger Pod | POD Up/down | Main beam | Dip beam
Fuel pump 1 is from injection head, and reverses signal, Fuel pump 2 is the actual pump power feed, and Ignition slave
is so that actual key switch doesn't have all the power going through it.
Hope that helps ...

The 6 x 3 grid was clearly for later cars but I've dug out my notes from the Tasmin and it sayeth here (from top):
1 - Main Beam
2 - Dip Beam
3 - Side, dash, rear fog lights
4 - LH Window lift
5 - RH Window lift
6 - Hazards, interior lights
7 - RH pod motor
8 - LH pod motor
9 - Horn, headlamps flash
10 - Indicators, heater fan
11 - Washers, wiper
12 - Reversing & brake lights, instruments, 'brake' and 'charge' warnings
Fuses 3 to 8 are permanently fed, 9-12 are ignition switched
Cig lighter and clock appear to be unfused(!), maybe I didn't look hard enough.
Relay panel layout, from top left:
Hazard flasher / Indicator flasher / Demister thermal fuse
Rear demister / Horn / FI Supply / FI Control
RH pod / LH pod / Headlight control / Starter motor
I can do you the colour codes for the wiring to the fuses (if your colour sleeves are still present) ETA I see a few are

For reference and completeness, mine was one of those wedges wired entirely in black, so if you have colour coded wires then it probably IS different to some degree.
Yours looks like an 'all black' from the photo, and is the same fuse box as mine - have you got a lid for it ??
I also don't know if someone changed mine, so can't verify if it's original or not. It did feature a neat scorch mark on the GRP panel carrying the relays, and some very dodgy crimped spades when I bought it...so it's quite possible.... and it doesn't quite match Wedg1e's list - is that the 'official' list ?
Do try to keep those little coloured sleeves, it's a total bugger to sort faults without any colour coding at all ...been there...

Mine was pretty close to yours. A couple were crossed over eg 11/12 so I've changed the running order to match yours as there is probably more chance yours is correct. (Right & left as viewed from the front of the board)I have problems on circuits 3 & 11. Does anyone have a wiring diagram indicating the colours of the wires to the panel lights, the reversing lights and the side/tail lights please?
Thanks for all your help with this

The 'all-black' looms used black wire but the coloured marker sleeves. It's the same way industrial control panels are built but they tend to use numbers instead of colours (although the numbered sleeves are also often coloured Yours looks like an 'all black' from the photo, and is the same fuse box as mine - have you got a lid for it ??
).It's not an 'official' list, it's the layout from my 1980 Tasmin, chassis 36, that I drew in 1995. It was a very original and unmodified car (OK yes, it was as rough as a badger's nadgers but all the better for it
) so likely that's how it left the factory. I think it was missing a good few markers even by the time I traced it all.The ceramic fuses and their contacts are prone to oxidation and over-current burning so a good clean with wet'n'dry or similar (my favourite is a fibreglasss pencil) can fix a myriad of faults.
Vehicle Wiring Products used to keep the exact fusebox but I don't recall seeing it in their catalogue for years.

Oops, yes, that's what I meant, and those sleeves get very fragile, mine had remnants dropped down between the loom and the body/wing side wall. Probably confirms someone did work on the wires.... on photo above I see many survivors, which should help.
).I remember those coloured ident sleeves, they matched the international electronic standard (1=brown, 2=red etc), but the ones I remember were plastic, not rubber ! Then coloured heat shrink appeared...
