This years Mania is going to be at Bruntingthorpe (Sat 9th August), and they are happy with the idea of a SEAC meet as part of the event.

Bruntingthorpe is going to give us the opportunity to drive our SEACs and not just kick tyres. Should be

From what little I've been told about this year's Maina I'm looking forward to it already.

If you are a SEAC owner, get that date booked

Duncan,
Good stuff this - do we need to book & where? Would you bring a copy of the SEAC literature? - worth a beer!
I'll bring SEAC No. 14 a 420. It'll confirm whether the engine is or isn't as ballistic as it feels!

This thread is really a 'heads up', we'll work out the details one we get a feel for how many SEACs would like to come.

It almost goes without saying that if we get a huge number of SEACs attending, then Mania will do more for us. The Bruntingthorpe location will permit almost anything, it's all down to the organisation.

Ideas please!

there are a few SEAC owners that i know that probably won't read this , but i will pass info on.
I think you should do what the ferrari owners club do when they attend Brands Hatch, organise for a ton of fresh washed shingle and a roped border with a sign saying members only

Cheers - I was hoping you would say that....

What about a SEAC SEAc equivalent of the time signal gun they use in Edinburgh. On the pips, a mass start up so that everybody knows what time it is

I remember a group of us in SEACs at British sportscar day at brooklands about 8 years ago , doing a 4 gun salute by starting up and revving up for a minute or 2 , only to notice various people running towards us waving to stop, we then noticed that a hundred yrds away they were doing a concours prize giving and nobody could hear a ****ing thing, they were slightly pissed off, the funny bit was that one of the SEACs ( now Rev-erends 450) had won first prize and the owner had to walk over to collect the cup with everybody looking at him..
I love it when things go like that.

Dug up quite an old thread here..nerd

Did this ever take place..SEAC specific meet?

Would be great to have a get together with pics, along the lines of the '04 BBWF.

Sorry Alan....this thread is 5 years old!! I was just being curious about whether this get together ever happened, and the possibility of another happening in the future?

Sorry for confusion. wink
