My Wedge does NOT have an Otter Switch, and there is no place to put one.

It appears that a 'non-standard' radiator was fitted at some time in the car's past ... I guess by the factory - who ran it for many years.
I will try today to run the engine with the car stationary to see whether the fan cuts in as the temperature rises. It has never overheated except for the one time referred to in the link above, and that was a wire that had come off the override switch terminal ... which suggests that there is no other means of turning the fan on (but you know TVR wiring ).
