Bloody weather!

Is it me or is it incredibly slippery on the roads today? I was out on a little blat, and just driving gently to allow the motor to warm up and the car is wheel spinning in 2nd on not even 1/4 throttle. Still, makes you feel like a driving hero anyway
Fingers crossed for a bit of snow tomorrow, so i can go and do some tyre wear free donuts

I was out yesterday and the sun was shining, about 25degrees and the roads were really grippy Now I'm back from Tenerife and I slipped over on the road between the taxi and house So yup, they are slippy!
PS I must hang my head in shame, we had a hire Corsa (x2) But did have an open top Jeep to compensate.

Wwho still works in old money!)
Forgive me for I have sinned. Today I put the roof up when the rain became torential. I was getting a tad damp though. 10 minutes later I was eating a breakfast batch complete with black pud and mushrooms in a snow storm. Whacky weather and a few nearly brown trouser sidways moments as well.

06:20 ... I'm just stepping outside, I may be some time ...
13:34 ... back home from a blat to Hungerford. Twitchy on the way there but a good sprint back. Sat behind a T350C on the approaches to Newbury (30mpph, shame!) and got a wave from the driver. Recognition at last ... or perhaps he was just amused at my red balaclava - Streaky

Gerry Attrick - this will make you sick too - 40 degrees C today (boxing day) and on the beach.
Living in the most isolated city in the world does have some benefits !

Whoa Chunder...there's only one remotest city in the world and I live in it. You're name tells me you're in Oz, which in turn means Perth.
What car are you driving?
I am indeed in Perth - I take it you are also - we may share some acquaintances within the local TVR fraternity - send me an email direct off line if you would like to get in touch.
Currently driving a Discovery but with a SEAC on its way.
