The car is a Tasmin series 2, 2.8, "Y" reg., with coloured wiring loom, horizontal dashboard and fuses/relays in the passenger footwell. There are ten relays/flasher and 18 fuses/diode. The key to which did what used to be on the back of the flap that was supposed to cover the fuses (but usually fell down onto the passenger's knees). Unfortunately this sheet got lost when HHC redid the back end, after it was remodelled by a B & Q artic.

The factory can't help. Can anybody help with a copy, please? I know what most do, but some elude me. Happy to pay for copying/postage.

Try getting a copy of the Wedge Bible there's a section on Wedge electrics towards the rear of the book.

My 83 Tasmin has still got the diagram on the fuse cover. Let me know if you need a copy. Tried to email you but couldn't connect.

You might get lucky and yours will match the diagram.

There is also this diagram in the Owners Handbook ...

Hope this helps - Streaky

PS - humm! Turned out somewhat illegible. I'll try again & repost - S

PPS - that's better! Bigger too (sorry if you're on a dial-up modem) - S

Just a warning,Take every TVR wiring diagram/label with a pinch of salt!! my '88 390 had all the labels still intact, and the relay layout was absolutely nothing like the one in the car! eg. the relay key said there were 18 relays, there werent, there are 21!; and there never appears to have been a wiring diagram for my particular year/month/day/hour/coffee break-of build. Mine has a Lucas Dim-Dip Unit fitted, which does not function(i guess TVR were anticipating the law being enforced) and an extra relay related to it.
I ended up unscrewing my relay board and tracing the wiring colours and comparing them to both a 350i and 400Se wiring diagram, and printed out my own relay label.

Thanks for all the help folks. I will have to compare your words of wisdom with the car (haven't got the modem in the car, yet!) and will come back to you with the results.

Many thanks again.
