Hi chaps,
Can anyone tell me where this goes on my 1984 TVR280i...
http://www.superpro.com.au/superpro-parts/?view=pa...
The website says it is for a Tasmin front end suspensions but I have my doubts, at least I don't recognise it from pulling the car apart...
I think I have all of the others sorted, so I will post the list for anyone interested once I'm certain.
Thanks, Toby

Thanks, I thought the lower tie rod bushes were these: http://www.superpro.com.au/superpro-parts/?view=pa... but I couldn't work out why there were 8 (unless the other 4 were used on the back of an A frame car?
Yep, top one looks like a cotton reel and the bottom ones fit either side of the leading link.
I think this is the top one: http://www.superpro.com.au/superpro-parts/?view=pa...

looking at these instead of rubber after reading that thread...thanks. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/360753289912?_trksid=p2...
Front diff mounting bush seems to be L 42mm (clip length) ID 13mm OD 38mm. Would be good if the person you recall could get in contact.

Yes I shall be using that site for reference during he construction phase of my project.
BTW I found the bush and RT has them in Nylon for 20 squid.
That completes the hunt for bushes, I've got 'em all on the way (poly not rubber) for $660 AUD (350GBP). That includes 4 trailing arm/diff bushes and all the suspension and steering ones except the chassis rear tie rod pair which look fine.

Sounds a billy bargain to me. Looking forward to the rebuild photos. Hope all the TET bits and pieces arrive safely and the rebuild is painless. Cheers.
Much appreciated Keith, a bit of an adventure for sure, plus a learning curve! Wouldn't even attempt it without the forum.Gassing Station | Wedges | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
