How do you............

Hey!
And I thought it was just some friendly mutual teasing! Better not show Bomber any pics of my car - he'll go into overdrive! And Steve will probably die of apoplexy seeing his replies. BUT - he did say he had owned 7 (was that right?) Wedges, so he must be a real enthusiast.
And of course he will realise that it is the Wedges that got TVR to where it is now.
I'll supply the handbags!

Bomber My Sweet, Darling, Dearest,
There is an old saying - which several seem to have missed.
It goes like this:-
"When you find yourself in a hole - stop digging!"
There! On the other hand, if you want to keep this thread going...........
Isn't it just the bestest good fun thread we've seen on here? Yeah!
I'm just wondering if we can change the Big Southern Wedge Meeting to somewhere a bit more UK central - make it a sort of UK Wedge Meet for us ALL to meet up at and exchange views!
Gotta go look for wooden spoon.
(All I wanted to know was how do you close a topic!)

Hey Pies -
Where did that quote from TVR Engineering come from?
The Genesis of all things TVR today(powerful V8 engine in light chassis with glassfibre bodywork to make very high performance cars - though of course they now manufacture their own 6 and V8 engines)is essentially the Wedge. They saw what they could do and the excitement it caused, and used the experience in doing it to generate new models.
I cannot and do not dispute the fact that the 'S' may have made the company a good deal of money, and quite possibly provided a good firm foundation upon which to take the company forward.
Can someone tell me if there are any similarities in the chassis of the Wedge and the 'S', and then the Griffith / Tuscan?
Interesting thread after all.

Strange..........
Strange how it is that a number of people have completely mis-interpreted my original remark.
Perhaps they don't speak or understand english. More probably it is the strange nuances that the language can so easily create.
Still, I know that Tas and Steve and a few others undertsand what I mean - so that is good.

This is for Steve, Tasmania, Bomber, Fether Ted, Rev-erend, and any other real, decent, honest hooligans who I have forgotten or whose names I cannot remember - wwww.cse.unsw.edu.au/~geoffo/humour/flattery.html
