I kept telling Steve about his wonky aerial and now he is paying for his floppy protuberance.

I did answer the call of nature in Brecon but I had a call-back. Lucky you lot only got 8 miles ahead....

dare i suggest another meet before the year is out??? albeit less driving and more sitting down in somewhere warm and dry, more importantly with a decent menu! I have one or two places in mind that allow for some motorway munching and some meal munching

well up for another this year - any takers for start of December, i have 3 more people and cars guted they missed this one

Personally i can do late november (25/26), my shift pattern ruins any ideas of weekends off in december before christmas.

Maybe you should ask Capri how he did with his Saab hehe

yeah the wet weather had a lot to do with that! Its really not about keeping up with the pack, although sometimes it does help

On my first (and previously only) brecon run i almost got left behind as we left brecon along some dual carriageway section and everyone else (couple TVRs and the NSX iirc) buggered off rather quickly and no matter how i hard i tried i was seriously pushed to keep the car infront in my sights. I'd say its worth a go anyway nuts

If we do one in sumemr 2007 i anticipate a lot bigger turnout and leaving in 2 or 3 groups will be a must. the group on sunday was a little bit big and it showed as we lost a couple cars along the way (sorry folks)

I don't mind doing the next one as long as it pre-dates the salt-slinging. Then it's a no-no.

I would be interested in another outing, but Matty wants to ride shot-gun in the Mustang. He has gone over to the "dark side" and obviously does not appreciate the appeal of an Italian Badge. Must say the photo's were excellent and brought out the best in the day.....

Count me in on the next one too!

I'm another 'fresher' to the forum but feel like an old hat having been caged up with J in his Elise (blue one) and RB5 a few times prior.

It was a fun day ..... see you anywhere !

laugh As Sorrento said, I think the wet weather had a lot to do with the Saab's... er... how shall I put it... 'not being quite as crap as I expected' rofl

Would be well up for another run, although if it's wintertime I'll be bringing the Saab up again rather than risking the Capri's already-fragile bodywork on the salty roads! Come next spring, though, I'll definitely have a crack at bringing the old girl up

We'll see you if the TVR doesn't break down...LOL and if you drive the TVR like the MR2, we'll see you disappearing backwards through a hedge somewhere as they don't reward mad driving except in perfect conditions. Still, it will be an interesting addition to the lineup of plastic kit cars like the Corvette....
