I just spotted Marc in his V8 Vantage in Mumbles - I was driving behind him in the car park in Verdis in the Range Rover. I will post a pic on the South Wales spotted thread now smile

Alvin, Nick (R35 GTR), Chris (TT) and I (SLS AMG) really enjoyed it yesterday. Great to meet so many of you. We'll be back! Next time hopefully with Alvin's recently completely restored, utterly mint F40. Here's a taster!

The F40 has a more appropriate number plate now. biggrin I think Alvin said there were another two F40's in the background to that picture.

Hope to see the SLS & GTR at the meet again.

It's not far of 550bhp there not cheap to do as it's all custom work

Frank, if you are thinking of pushing the TT engine to 350 Bhp plus then you'll probably need a rebuild to strengthen the internals. Its the engine used in the 2008 X-Bow's and a lot of problems with the original bits (even in an 800Kg car...)

Cheers Andi, but no I wasn't think of going any further on the TTS as a Stage 2 / 350bhp is enough - as you say once you go above that, you need so much more done to it and not worth it. I was asking as the prices I have seen quoted for a 550BHP on an R32 were around the £15-17k mark and I was surprised that it was quite so much ! IF it was around the £8k mark, I may have bought a new toy for myself and gone bonkers with the tuning lol
