Body Shop?

Hey guys!

I recently had a run in with the corner of a skip! My right wing is slightly dented and the paint has been taken off (not very deep as far as I can tell). I live very near to Promotive - a company I've read a few things about on this forum. Does anyone know whether or not they do body repairs? I've got my BMW booked in with Rylands in Cardiff which is an approved BMW body shop but am not looking forward to their quote! I know I shouldn't take the chance when it comes to body work but I recently had £170s worth of scratches repaired after someone decided to key me so money is tight atm!

I know a few people who have used Gibbs in Newport, a body repair shop down near the cinema and nissan garage etc. I've also heard good things about Royston garages on Newport Road. Any know of any other quality body repair shops that I could try?

Pop into Ace MOT on Fanny Street and ask Dean for his brother Phil's number. Very cheap. Elm Street somewhere. Will pick up and redliver the car. It all seems very shady but the results are great. Stunning results. He's done the corner of a colleague's BMW 3 series bumper on several occasions and you'd never know it and did both sides of my 1987 black Camaro which he not only matched but I couldn't see the join.

I used him too and he did a great job on my old BMW. I've got his number if anyone wants it.

Davies Motor Company just off Hadfield Road in Cardiff....they are Bentley approved and excellent. Had a few cars painted there in the past (mainly stone chipped front ends) - Midnight Blue Boxster, Le Mans Blue M5 etc. Ask for Sean the owner.

Any of these guys mentioned able to check the alignment of the body shell? And are trustworthy?
