Woooooo......We're booked in....ive booked 2 cars under 2 different email addresses, but as mentioned by someone earlier, i didnt receive and email confirmation or a receipt of payment.

Any ideas if this is normla, or have i been missed out?

Also, i booked my car with me and another driver, but we now have an extra driver coming, can i book him in and pay on the day? if so, how do i go about this please?
Ryan,

I've received your emails for the additional drivers and sent a reply. You have 2 cars both with 2 drivers, just pay the extra on the day and we'll issue you with a receipt.

If anyone has any problems or queries, please either ask on here or via the website as we closely monitor both!

Kind regards,
Steve.
RAF Marham Trackday Team.

There are still places available for this, but now we have a decent number attending it's gearing up to be another excellent weekend!!

One of the participants is kindly bringing a LIMITED SUPPLY of 99 RON unleaded fuel which he is prepared to sell at cost if anyone is needing motion lotion at lunch!

Booked! Steve & Sue - MG ZR 160

I was thinking that 3 track days in under a week was a bit excessive, but then again, maybe not!

Err, It was a bit difficult to get through the booking process. I could not use my own email address as that was already registered, and there were no clues as to how you get past that hurdle. Are repeat bookings down?

Glad to see you back!!

I'm not sure what's gone on with the booking as you should have been able to use your original e-mail. If you are having issues, please contact us and we'll do what we can to help!

Sorry to hear this!
I will see what we can do. Normally it would be a no this close to the event as we have already paid for things like liability insurances etc. Can you come back to us after the event when things have settled down please?

Hi, can you email the details across on the 'contact us' section of the website please?!

You will need to pay for people going on the track on the day (in cash and we'll issue a receipt) please.

Thanks,
Steve.

You'll probably use pretty much all of it then! :-)

Anybody else coming up from SW London? I'm planning to leave Putney around 4.30am on Saturday, and I'll head via Tower Bridge and the Limehouse Link to the M11 corridor.

There's a few from Essex so you might pick other cars up on the M11?

Well, halfway through putting the 1000 traffic cones out it lashed it down... The good news is the track has now had a good wash!
Saturday's weather promises to be dry and Sunday even better... Roll on tomorrow morning!!! :-)

Just got in after 200+miles of track fun at Marham. The conditions in the morning were pretty bad but glad it started to dry out in the afternoon. Good to see such an assortment of cars on track too. Everything from the family hatch to an F3 car.
When's the next one?

Just buttoned the car back together. Need to pack my kit up now and set my alarm for silly early.

Looks like I should've done Saturday :| - I much prefer a wet track day.

See you tomorrow!

My front tyres are now non-existent. I drove all the way home without touching the brakes.

But I cracked 150mph.... only another 10 left on the clock wink

Well done Marham, another excellent, relaxed "Driving Experience". Not done one since 2008, and was just how I expected it to be.

My untested donor Prelude drove well all weekend (apart from my 4 wheel steering not liking the wet/dry combo on Saturday and binning out halfway through the corners). The engine and gearbox have now passed their induction and will be removed for my road car.

205 miles covered, apologies if I held you up around the corners, my budget tyres were hampering my speed (and my lack of 'Big Balls')

My mate also had a good laugh in his Puma (he has bigger Balls than me...which was evident when he took me out in my own car!)

Cheers to all involved in the day smile

Thanks to Steve and the team for organising a great event - really enjoyed it. Some really interesting machinery there too - from a 1949 Allard J2 to a Lola F3 - don't often get the opportunity to be on track with such a variety of cars. Great weekend!

Well, i'm glad everyone had a good time this weekend..... I know I definitely did!!

From my perspective:

Whilst setting the track up on Friday afternoon, the awful weather meant the team all wet through to the skin and cold but spirits were high, as were the amount of cones to lay, there was a LOT of standing water all over the surface and it felt like there would be no respite, despite checking every weather forecast and crossing everything, I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little concerned that it would hamper Saturdays activities... or worse. Especially when waking at 0320 on Saturday to meet the F3 team and their articulated truck at 0400 with the first drop off (a pair of RX8's, then return for the Lola and a spare RX8... well, you can never have enough race cars hey!!) and it was STILL raining!!

Regardless, we all pressed on and as the eclectic mix of cars arrived, it was game on! Driving down to escort cars onto the Air Base always makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up as it takes many months of planning and preparation, many many emails both from the website and from across the Station that seeing everyone lined up, raring to go means it's all very real!

There was slight confusion with booking details which we will have ironed out for the next one, so apologies to anyone that had issues.

This event had everything from a Lola F3, Radical, BMW E46 estates, a junior driver in a Nissan Micra, the lass in the orange 206 that's ALWAYS first out on track, a supercharged F-150, some pretty quick Clio 182's, and the usual gathering of loons... the red Nova handing everyone their a**e, the black Evo with THAT rear wing and now a Quaife sequential box, oh and who can ignore the 16 plate 750bhp RS6??? T he list goes on!!!

The track was less grippy shall we say first thing on Saturday due to the moisture but dried out nicely in the PM so I think everyone had a good event, Sunday was dry and fairly cool, perfect for most cars and those that wanted to were able to really push it.

You guys certainly kept all 4 safety cars, recovery and marshals busy / entertained, straightening cones, picking up arch liners and in some cases requiring another van load of cones to replace the flat ones..... James D-W, you owe me about 100 cones and I have a pile of bright orange plastic pre-flat packed for you! Hahaha.

Come 9pm Sunday night, all of the cones are back in a (slightly smaller) pile, we've done a thorough search of unwanted car bits, stones, even a screwdriver and ready to rock and roll with Tornado GR4s thundering down the runway that had you lot screaming around it not 15 hours since!

A huge thanks to Balfour Beatty for the loan of the cones (sorry!), King's Lynn VW for lending us another safety car and Adrian Flux insurance for the freebies!

All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable weekend, loved every minute - the smell of brakes being worked hard, sitting at the complexes to hear sound of drivers being pushed, I really hope to see you all again come spring (roughly end of April).... spread the word, tell everyone about it!!!!

Steve.
RAF Marham Trackday Team.
