Yeah that suits me fine! I was thinking as mine for more of a meeting point for guys along the way plus a break for a coffee or quick snack. The Lough Neagh route sounds great! Done somethinhg similar last year round there; but cut accross to Carrick On Shannon and came up via Sligo in to Doneal Town etc.

Are there no other older cars attending? As for the Sligo suggestion, sounds ok, but I personally don't want to put unnecessary excess mileage on the Lotus, a decent distanced, well organised route, with plenty of photographic opportunities would suit me, otherwise I'll give it a miss this time and attend next time with a more suitable vehicle.

No point us trying to run before walking, we''l keep it simple this first run and see how it goes and after that bigger/ longer distance events can be organised.

I think Antrim (Shanes Castle) would be a good place to start, its pretty central for everyone and anyone who cant make the start time can join us along the way. I need to check if we can get into the grounds but if not there is a large carpark which is open to the public so thats the other option.

As for stops along the way lets hear from you guys if there is somewhere you would like to stop.

Start time?
Well I was thinking of stopping at the Glenavon Hotel in Cookstown for Lunch/chat/photos etc nice spot and good size carpark.
Carvery £16.95PP with two sittings 12.30 and 2PM This will have to be booked before hand so we have an idea of how many for lunch there are going to be.

So the start time depnds on which sitting we want personally I think 2pm but lets hear your fews.
