Picked up a nice "war wound" on the car the other day.

A tree leapt out of nowhere in a 40, I was doing 40, in a very narrow heavy tree laden road near Amersham. All 4 tyres were on the tarmac as the drive was never rough. My passenger window was half way down, next thing I hear an ALMIGHTY glass smash sound, thinking my passenger window was no more. Look over, it's still there. Look on the dash, to find bits and pieces of my passenger mirror in tiny particles scattered in my car.

My side mirror now has a nice war wound. Big ten points for it, at 40 mph and no other markings down the side of the car. Very close shave.
