David87, was yours the Clio trophy? I spent a fair bit of time stood at your car boring my Dad about the virtues of the Trophy! Was hoping to catch up with the owner for a natter - hopefully see you at may's meet.

Yeah, the Trophy was mine. Which car were you in? Sorry you missed me - I never noticed anyone paying it particular attention, but then again it was relatively dull compared with some of the other machines there!

Hi everyone!

This was my first PH meet and I really enjoyed it. Everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere was great.

I think it's quite a good venue for a meet but I understand there are some issues they need to work out. They have only been open a few weeks and are still trying to find their feet (no excuse) but do seem happy to take feed back on board.

I'm more than happy to take any issues back to them and make sure they get resolved for the next meet.

So far I've picked up:
-Music too loud/a bit rubbish
-Pricing a bit 'random' at times
-Menu needs to be more varied

Does anyone have anything else?

Hi Tommy I paid a bit over £17 for two burgers and two coffees. Maybe that was the variable pricing but it was a bit top mate. Nearer £12 at the Lodge. Thought the service was good especially considering the mass influx at the time.

There,s lot of support for this venue and I think we all want to see it succeed so we put it down to teething troubles only.

He'd just taken out some of my work friend's for a ride and then joining me for lunch. Doubt you'll see the car again as he's from Portsmouth, it will be on PH classified for circa £28,500 if anyone's interested.

Quick update. 8 Ball are reviewing the menus, pricing, etc based on our feed back.

That's good, our 2 cooked breakfasts and 2 milkshakes were over £20 on Saturday which I thought was a little pricey.

Not at all Bob, it's the sort of thing they want so that they can fix it! Any other issues/suggestions just let me know. The guys are really open to all ideas! I'm happy to act as go-between.
