Hi

I wouldn't mind catching a ride with someone if that is possible????, plus i remember the Kent Run route as i do those roads regualy for work.....

I would suggest going from Rye towards Hastings then onto the A21 as that bit of road is great.....

Plus with everybodys permission i wouldn't mind getting some photos and film footage.... Number plates would oversly be disquised....

Id be happy to give you a lift. So long as you can get yourself to Kings Hill, or the starting point in the morning.

Being you seem to know the route, would you be kind enough to try and describe it in an email to me, and I will forward it to the rest of the guys who would like an idea in advance. Dont post too much detail here.

You could be a passenger on the run; Canterbury to M20 Maidstone services is what, 20mins? The downside is I have a dark drive to Canterbury, unless you can get yourself to the services?

The problem is, is that i don't drive. I could always get a lift down to Maidstone Services if i'm allowed(old teenger - 15years)

How long does it take you to get to Maidstone? Justing thinking of times.
Also, do you have a helmet, if not will be bl**dy cold at that time in the morning! I will get a second one eventually, but having just spent almost £2500 more on a car than I had intended, it will have wait for a bit!

I know the route to Rye as its my fairly regular stomping ground; but beyond there is beyond my normal radius. Still hoping for good weather on Saturday so I can get the car; I dont fancy the idea of semi-slicks and rain for 190miles!!!

Managed to crack a couple last week after coming off a quad but will probably come along and see how it goes.

Did the last run and it was all good fun apart from the TVR going backwards through the fence!

Did you see my reply; I've just realised what I said about the mistake may not be entirely correct! If by the cross roads you mean Golford rather than Benenden, then it would not be Rolvenden, but it would still be left not right...

Dont worry about it too much. Ill have the guy who knows the route in my passenger seat. He is the one who wrote the directions, maybe its just a typo, but Im sure he knows it once we are there. If not you seem to know the area pretty well, so one way or another Im sure we will be ok.

Planning on meeting at J8 M20 Services at 6.30am to leave at 7.00am. This run worked well last time becasue we had empty roads, so we need to leave at dawn.

I did this blast a few sundays ago with Jay. First time i had done it in the Lotus, really good run. Tom if still the same then i have the tomtom stuff still.
