Finally made it!! Hoorah! I hope people liked the 997 Tubby, it seemed to get a lot of attention, though not as much as that pesky Ultima... lol
Hot damn that sounded erotic when it left!
Had a great time chatting to some of the PH lot, good to put faces to usernames.
I'll be there next month for sure - probably bring my own motor this time....

Good to see you all chaps, good turnout. Sorry had to turn and burn early but was knackered.
Seeing as we now attracting reasonable numbers shall we all agree to park up on the gravel/grass section away from the astra vans etc??? Much easier to ogle the machinery.
I'm also feeling some Essex Pistonheaders Window Stickers coming on....anyone good with the arty creative side??.... (I doubt Ted or the new PHeads owners will sanction official use of logos so lets keep it underground.......the password is petrol).
Ed - i bet you are a nightmare with a microphone in your hand

Good to meet some of you last night, wasn't sure if I would be there as I had only just picked the car up from a service on Mersea Is an hour before, had a new Holley carb fitted and was giving it a bit of a run to settle it in and to blow all crap out of the engine as the last carb I had over fuelled massively.
Looks like I'll have to go out past the pub next time as the other exit has bloody speed bumps (bain of my life!) and I grounded out three times!!!
Still, a good night.

Morning all....
Being a complete newbie to this meet, I have to state great turnout and some very nice looking rides
Did however prove that my RS was incredibly dirty and I promise to clean it before the next meet. Mac - your offer of a free clean still on the table ??
Nice photos Ken and cheers Jamie for the introductions....

Great meet last night. Sorry i didn't get round to everyone it was nice to meet those of you that i managed to speak to. There were so many cars! How were we supposed to choose just one from the exotica that was there last night? We couldn't even bring ourselves to start scoring the "real cars" as the standard was so high. We decided that our particluar favourites last night were the ultima, the noble, all the ferraris, and the integrale for it's retro cool.
But one stood out more than the rest. A very, very, very custom Kawaski motorbike that was just simply stunning. Ok so it's only got 2 wheels, but for us it was just a work of art.
Looking forward to next month already.
