Anyone fancy a Sunday morning blast, 11th Nov.
Discussion
No need for anyone to worry about the route too much. Last time it worked very well with just a few people who knew the route leading groups of 6-10 cars. This time with smaller numbers it should only need a 2/3 of us to lead groups of cars. I dont have a copy of the exact route myself.
Just get to the start point as early as poss, and we discuss it more then. Ill be there at 6.30.

Hi
Right i have just driven the route this afternoon to check for any nasty suprises.... Roadworks, new speed cameras, road surfaces etc...
I have made a slight change to the 1st part which i think is better for some of the lower cars...
Depending on how much time we have i think a lap round the marsh would make good driving...
Just checked the Met website, the weather is looking good aswell...
Roll on Sunday

My son is passengering in the RS on Sunday and now a friend of mine, Colin, wants to come along and ride in the passenger seat to take photos. He's fairly handy with a camera but he won't fit through my roll cage!
Anyone have a spare passenger seat?
Suggest that we swap passngers at various stages so that those with cameras get more than just the car in front and the car behind!

I suggest the breakfast stop be at the Little Chef near Rye we ate at before. Im not sure of the exact location though. If Tom, or Damien knows please email it rather post exact locations here.
If not we get sorted when we meet in the morning, and any friends who need to know can be called/texted from there.

Guys,
The wife has just got home with the TOMTOM and there is only one route on there. Can be emailed if needed. Zippy, as i am not sure of your change i will stick to the original route unless my group catches up to the group before and meet you at Rye.
Not sure where the Little Chef, i know the first group last time went up there, i was leading second group which waited for the Cafe to open.
I do have a file from the first kent run which is directions written out. I can email this to anyone that wants it.
Please PM me with your email address and if you want TOMTOM .itn files or directions to print, or both.
Really looking forward to giving the Elise some proper stick I texted Jay earlier today to let him know but no reply yet.
Pied Piper and Joe turbo, got your PM just about to send you info.

Hi
The little Chef is at Brenzett roundabout at the end of the Hamstreet Bypass.
It has a big carpark, and is right next to the road that will take us down onto the marsh.
I have to admit i was hoping to jump into some diffrent cars along the route to get some diffrent video footage along the way.
So lone drivers beware....LOL

You're welcome to jump in with me; but you may want a helmet depending on how long you intend to stay I'll bring the intercom stuff anywayThe little Chef is at Brenzett roundabout at the end of the Hamstreet Bypass.

Thanks guys, you've convinced me. I would bring the truck, it would keep up easily in a straight line, but the corners would be a different story..lol!!!
Right, even if I can't get off work, I'm coming on this after my night shift, I can sleep when I get home..lol!!! So I'll need to trawl back and check the start place and time.
Can someone send me the tomtom file too please: nigel at nbond dot co dot uk
All I need to do then is figure out how to load it on to my ONE.
See you Sunday,
Nige.
07 Impreza.

Hi
The only change i have made to the 1st leg, is that there is no turning off before Smarden, the small lane that takes you headcorn.
I suggest going straight on through smarden and it brings you out just before Biddenden. I was only thinking that lane may be a bit much for a Gallardo or GT3.
But if some people want to still go that way i am not bothered, as we can just meet up at the breakfast point...

I know where you mean Tom. I will be doing the orignal only cause i like the back on yourself turning in headcorn before you go over the bridge. Kick the ass out The only change i have made to the 1st leg, is that there is no turning off before Smarden, the small lane that takes you headcorn.
