Who is up for a run out this sunday coming?? Weather look ok, and it might the last chance before the winter really sets in.

Im rubbish with directions so anyone who still has the original Kent Run route from M20 Junction 8 services to Rye would be great.

I suggest a 6.30 start to leave at 7am. Any earlier and it will be dark.

Im still working on trying to get together a route which was very succesfully used in the original Kent Run, it took us from J8 M20 services to Rye, then along towards Hastings, and back towards Kent taking in a little bit of the empty A21.

But Im very flexible and open to suggestion about routes at the moment, so feel free to put something forward. Although I suggest we keep it vague and dont post too many details here. We dont want to be gatecrashed by boyracers etc.

I would suggest going from Rye towards Hastings then onto the A21 as that bit of road is great.....

Plus with everybodys permission i wouldn't mind getting some photos and film footage.... Number plates would oversly be disquised....

Id be happy to give you a lift. So long as you can get yourself to Kings Hill, or the starting point in the morning.

Being you seem to know the route, would you be kind enough to try and describe it in an email to me, and I will forward it to the rest of the guys who would like an idea in advance. Dont post too much detail here.

Dont worry about it too much. Ill have the guy who knows the route in my passenger seat. He is the one who wrote the directions, maybe its just a typo, but Im sure he knows it once we are there. If not you seem to know the area pretty well, so one way or another Im sure we will be ok.

Planning on meeting at J8 M20 Services at 6.30am to leave at 7.00am. This run worked well last time becasue we had empty roads, so we need to leave at dawn.

Crikey, this would be a first, don't normally fall out of bed until gone 10:00am on a Sunday! If the weather looks favourable and I can stay awake all night I'll do my best to attend. What time's kick-off. E-mail of route would be good.....

Id like to keep the numbers down, because so far there are only 2 people that know the route. However if you can send someone else the Tom Tom file, and that someone would be happy to lead a group then fine.

Is the route down to Rye the same as the Kent runs. I have the first run we did in tomtom and then the longer in tomtom which was the second when it was raining, i have the file but did not do the run.

I guess it will run until about 10ish? But if anyone has other commitments they are welcome to come for the first part and break away when it suits. Last time we stoped near rye for some breakfast. If enough people feel like it, Im sure we will do that again.
