I hadnt really planned on leading a monster high-speed thing.. just a gentle enough roll though Oxfordshire, enjoying the sights & sounds of a few TVRs etc. Hope everyone in agreement !!

Hope we can all squeeze in the pub!

Remember.. to those more familiar than I to those surrounding roads, that my route will be 25-30 mins I estimate, and so we'll need some more good driving roads after we 're back on the A41

Just called pub to double-check booking. All OK.. though I did ask if some number more than estimated 20 ofus want to sit & eat whether that's all fine.. she couldnt promise as it all depends on how many of us plus how many others in the pub. Anyhoo.. we'll see...

I've got a mate that lives just over the road from the pub. He's going to pop in for a pint but he won't be eating.

Just been looking at the map. 2 options........

1.

Go back towards Bicester,
Pick up the A4421 towards Buckingham,
Then get on the A413 to Winslow
Then cut back towards Steeple Claydon,
Through Grendon Underwood
Pick up the A41 back to the pub

2.

Go up through Steeple Claydon to Winslow
Take the A413 into Aylesbury
Have a run around the town
Then back on the A41 back to the pub.

Rumour has it that The Thames Valley Police are setting up speed cameras on the Tingewick Bypass on Sunday, near the roundabout where the wind sock is.

I understand they will be concentrating on motorcyclists. Biased view, but i think they are Bar Stewards!

Have a ticket free week-end
