I got back last night, via SleazyJet and the M23 chaos, the others are booked on a train about 7pm tonight I think, I have had a call from BMW Poland about the 540, it seems all is not lost, it had cooked a couple of spark-plugs resulting in them dropping bits into the cylinders but I am assured it is all fixed now. biggrin
But I have to fly out there to pick it up and drive it back, so if anyone fancys a mini hoon to Krakow in the next few weeks let me know driving

Well it would appear at least two of the three made it back in their own vehicles! However French customs / British border control thought we needed searching, twice in Charlies case which I thought was nice of them. rofl

My car seems to be pretty much okay, fingers crossed!

I've done 2429.4 miles, 51mph average at around 27.3mpg overall which I think is bloody amazing considering it will also do 239kph according to GPS (maybe more) which is almost exactly how fast it should go, not bad for an 8 year old car. thumbup for Audi

The brakes sqeal like a bastard and there's a vibration which seems to go away above 125mph, the windscreen wipers are in chocolate fire guard teritory and I guess it's not a good idea to do 4 laps of the ring on new ish discs and pads rofl

It would appear Nigel has picked up his car and made it as far as Prague, apparently it's even quicker now and "went off the clock" at some point today.

Good effort Nigel thumbup

bloody hell I wish I was back there rather than here!
