Is this because the discs are too big or warped or what rob, as I'm guessing if it's because they're too big any engineering place with a lathe will be able to sort you out?

There are too big.

I need to reduce them from 314mm to 304mm so ideally anybody handy with a lathe could do it but I don't know of many engineering workshops around this way.

Thanks for the links John although I think they are mainly aimed at resurfacing the discs.

The grinder offer still stands? I think square discs will be the next big thing in car design... thumbup

Steers ok = nearly
Stops = Thats what Nathans porsche is for! wink

Well thanks to Ben I should have the brakes on fairly soon provided that the lathe doesn't eat them.
