Ah is it a 3 Series? Grey/Silver one. Undercover car.. Two BiB sat there in High Viz Coats.. Not so undercover hehe

Haven't seen an Unmarked in the centre at night before, do you traffic guys do the 'normal' policing too.. Or are you there for drunk drivers/dodgy cars etc?

Not sure if it was Bib or not but a grey S class screamed past me near Highmoore (back of Henley), way-wah headlights, blue strobes in the grille and a couple of blue lights in the window, being driven by a young looking chap in a suit.........any ideas?

Yes it's a 3 series. Have you seen the new 5 series marked ones yet??

'normally' we don't wear hi viz's in unmarked cars, but hey!!!

Yes, you can spot traffic cars doing the rounds of town centres, over the last few sets I ve dealt with fights, domestics, drunks and a woman locked in a shop!!!! biggrin

Of course, you have to be ready to drop everything to go and deal with the car that's rolled with the driver trapped inside!!!

Can't understand how you guys dislike your 5 series so much, we all love ours and would all have one as our own car if it weren't for the running costs. Isn't there an issue with the seats and driving position in yours that you don't like?

Haven't driven one yet, putting it off as long as possible!!! Just from looking at it, it's not as good as the T6!!!

Had a fiddle with one of your D5's from Catford, the driver didn't seem impressed, my reply was, no neither were we, the T6 on the other hand!!! biggrin

We have two in the garage, they have all the new cleartone anpr kit and they are the only car's where everything on them works, however we are not allowed near them and the logbooks are hidden away under lock and key. Apparently we are getting two marked X5's aswell, but again have been told we won't be allowed to use them when they arrive, as they will just be ferried around as skippers taxi.

I'd have one as my own car as A) I'd buy decent seats and B) I wouldn't overload it with st biggrin

The seats are poor, the lumbar just doesn't adjust enough to accommodate the body armour.

(I hope to get away with posting this as i'm sure there will be several hundred photos and at least a few videos of it across the net by tonight!!!!)

Diz, yep this was a 61 plated skippers car, which he had borrowed from a skipper?!?!? He didn't think you had any at Hampton.

My bet is it's completely unrelated.
