Thanks for joining the site, looking good already. I have just sent a test 'email blast'. As you can see there's a calendar on the site and a myriad of useful other easy to add pages/facilities.

OK for everyone's discretion it's now locked down to members only, if anyone wants to sign up you should be able to do so from the home screen. Ideal facility if you're an international playboy jetting the world and can't attend every event Mark in Japan smile

Of course, all welcome and it's a social thing as much as anything else.

It's tomorrow! And as we really have to knuckle down it would be a good idea to re-instate the 'what did you say you'd do and what have you done' plan (I need it even if you don't!). Also, it would be good to discuss how best to use the website - it might mean that there's lots of activity in between meetings, forum/web wise and for those who can't make it we can update the group at the pub from what's written on the website. I have a few ideas I don't have time to do so if you don't even have an idea you want to turn into cash..come along anyway!

What do I need to prepare/bring along? I'm fairly new to running a business, so was hoping to just chat to others doing it, and hopefully steal some good working ideas. I'm usually a nervous wreck, so please be nice wink

How will I find you guys when I arrive?
We'll be by the fireside (the narrow end of the pub), friendly car lovin bunch, just bring yourself smile

There are a lot of us with an IT background so if that's your thing there'll be loads there who can talk web based business. Btw, feel free to just sit and listen if you like!

Gus, yes of course!

I've had an idea..

How about every month we turn up and tell each other what 10 actions we're going to take during the month to further our (or someone else's) path to riches. Seems to me that every month there are plenty of ideas, lots of talent to get stuff done, amazing contacts available and the will generally to make things happen but...life usually gets in the way of us getting everything done that could be done to move onwards over the month post the meeting. Also, for most of us in work life is pretty good/OK/fun so life does go on even if you don't do too much on the business idea. However, IF we've all done 10 tasks to creep or leap forward each month we'll all hopefully start seeing things really moving on and all of the fun that comes with something taking off and most importantly, providing the wealth to upgrade our lifestyles and those around us - kids/partners/welcomed drains on our resources smile

Think about that, 10 people turn up each pledging 10 actions (some to forward their ideas, some to forward other people's). Some will be small, ''phone matey, Google importing hybrid turbos from India' whilst some will be bigger ''launch website'' etc. SO that'll be 100 actions to talk about and unless we're all complete numpties - huge progress forward each month for relatively little effort. And, keeping focussed on why we're doing this we can also, as the actions grow the incomes, talk about how it's improving our lives in line with whatever it is we want. Then eventually the club will be 'invitation only' and we will migrate to the exclusive 'Sportsman Bar' at the back of the pub and maybe even need sick-you-rid-dee for the Lambos and Fezza's out front!

Failing that the pub does sell scratch cards!

Really? I'm cynical in the extreme. I'm sure people didn't find my input that useful.

Where have I been?? Searching for elusive people.
You were a flippin inspiration mate, not afraid to go out and catch the biggest of fish!

If I'm not snowed in (I'm away from home), it's on and this month it coincides with a launch of a website for me..
