Bank Holiday Monday (30th) - Early run anyone ?

Anyone up for an early run out & breakfast on the 30th ?

I've got some ideas for a route out into Oxon/Bucks, but happy to go anywhere really.

I'll start the interest list with me:

An idea for somewhere to go, Castle Combe. There is a japanese race day that day (Mostly Mx5's) and they always produce excellent racing and are very entertaining. Qualifying is all morning with the races all afternoon. I'm down there taking photos.

There is a very good chance i might be just back from Yorkshire after collecting my new sensible car. So i'm up for this if i have the new car in time. If not then i may try to blag a pax ride with someone - Especially if Hewlett has his new toy by then.


ETA - Epic Hoon mk2 is a good plan, but can we get on to organising The Big One again soon please?

I just had a quick look at Google maps and come up with a interesting route. It takes in our favourite countryside views between TV and CC which is 90 miles

What time do you think the run will be finished? I'm off to wembley to watch the play off final but if I can squeeze in a blast 1st thing then it would be a great start to the days activities

Driving needs to be done between 7am-9am, so I would of thought of meeting South of Reading at a Pub for 6.30am The route is around 90 miles (itn file will be provided)we should be in CC by 9-ish, I found a nice farm cafe for breakie, its right near the circuit.

I guess that some will stay and watch the car racing.

I could be up for this. Just depends whether the SZ is back on the road. It's been waiting for some propshaft doughnuts for 3 weeks now, but apparently they should arrive early next week and I could be rolling again by the weekend

If so, this will be the perfect way to welcome the car back!
