Ok, so tell me how much it'll cost to keep an M5 on the road and do 24,000 miles in one in a year?
Lots

HTH
Worth it though.

Mine is already (very slightly) modified and doesn't have the original engine though pete, so I suspect it'll be a total bastard to sell especially when you look at the colour.
Respray it and keep it?
It would be a transvestite car.

I'd rather keep my car than get a scooby, an Evo 6 maybe... scratchchin
IMH EVO 6 is the best, however the 9GT should also be considered.

Either way, 2.35 stroker from the states, GT35R, and you'll have high 500's in no time hehe

I like the sound of one of the later ones with the E46 M3 engine. I'm sure they carry a premium however.
Technically it's only 4bhp more if the figures are believed (which is unlikely) and they come with all the wimp aids hehe

0-60 time is meant to be somewhere close to 5secs for either version so that'd do for me...
In reality, take a bad S50 and a normal S54 and the difference is some 40bhp, or even more. Even the best S50's only make about 310, where as the S54 easily makes its 325 book fig.

To be fair, the S50 in the E36 M3 was actually rated as 321PS, not BHP.
