What was that raced in ?? Road going sports cars or did you sprint/hillclimb it ??
Roadsports. My current G15 project is to race in the CSCC 'Swinging Sixties' and the Ginetta Heritage series (if it ever gets off the ground).
A record if the build can be found at:

Who has got the original car now? I've lost track of it.
The 'white' one pictured is, as said, a replica (from a replica - the G12P Lightning, if I recall theres good feature in Road & Track mag) - the white copy was made by American Tom Piantanido (think that's how it's spelt).
Was a superb car originally when built by Richard Petit around 1967 and registered DW5206 (Great Lake State) - he gave me the pics for the book - original was actually right hand drive (can't recall if Lightning P was rhd, odd for USA.
Wonder what Petit's doing these days? And if he still has the 1/4 scale model? Interestingly, Petit was a really tall guy so the Walkletts modified the original chassis to accommodate him so one of these chassis would be ok for tall drivers (like me!).
Wasn't the white replica in pic sold to someone over here?
Bottom line to the Petit G12 is IF the Walkletts (who were offered the moulds to Petit's car to build their own version) had gone adhead, the car may have been called G20 (road) - the other G20 (again which did not materialise) was their proposed F1 car.
