Identify these steering wheels

They both have splines that fit on a Capri column.
My guess is left is from a 2.8 injection and right from a 3.0S.
Am I right?

Left looks like the latermk3 Capri, the right looks like the earlier mk2, also the same as the mk2 escorts

The left-hand one has been peeled! Lost it's leather cover.

The spokes gained padding on the later 'Mk 3' Capri's.
