Focus or Mondeo COSWORTH?

Sorry if this subjects has been done to death before but whats the general opinion/knowledge on the following....
Will the ever be a Focus or Mondeo COSWORTH?
Is there still a link with Ford and COSWORTH?
Judging by the standard Fords these day (ST's etc.), theres surely a market....

I seem to remember that VW/Audi Group own Cosworth road vehicle development, although I think Ford still own their racing department. I would imagine that the terms of the sale would state that Ford can't use the Cosworth name on road cars.
Ever since the Focus came out, there has been a turbo 4wd version due 'in about 18 months'. Pick a car magazine off WH Smith's shelf at random, and someone will be saying they have seen a buck running turbo 4wd gear and how we will soon see it in the showrooms. I believe there was just such a story here about a month ago. The ideal time would have been when Ford won the WRC. I still can't quite work out why so few of the manufacturers have 4wd turbo road cars available (and why the WRC allow it). At least in the days of 200 car homologation we could actually buy a road going version.
I said this elsewhere, but I still believe that while ever Ford owns Jaguar, and Jaguar are trying to make a profit on the X-Type, there will never be a truly hot Mondeo. The new Mondeo is due to get the Volvo 6-pot turbo next and the chassis is capable of 4wd. Meaning it is capable of RWD too, which to my mind is exactly what it needs to set it apart from the EuroJap boxes. It would also leave the door open for a 2/3-door Coupé model.

Ford sold the Cosworth name a while back. Forget it, you'll not see Cosworth on a new Ford.
Ford have NOT said they will produce a 4WD Focus. The "comics" keep wheeling out the same old dross, but it is NOT based on fact.
At this time Ford do still own Jaguar. They asked for interest in Jag/LR and the bid window closed back in August. As yet, nothing has been announced.

It is a shame that there is no extreme version, but IMHO, when the cosworths were THE car of the moment, the "hot/warm" fords, like the XR4i Sierra, and XR3i Escort were ok, but not great.
Nowadays, there is no Cosworth option, but the ST versions are great, relatively speaking probably better than the XR versions were in their day... (Although in my family we were big fans of the XR2, we had an excellent one in the family for years)
I think often the Cosworths (with the exception of the Granny/Scorpio) were often little more than marketing exercises, and were not very profitable.
I know it wasn't a cosworth, but the Focus RS made a loss on every one didn't they?
