Ford CD radio unlock override?

Hi,
I have a ford radio in my ford and the battery went very flat last week, so my radio reset and now I need the 4 digit code to activate it again, problem is, I didnt get the code with the car!!

Is there anyway to activate it without the code or do I have to just replace it!?

You can get the code from a dealer usually for free I think.

hi i allso lost my code on my ford radio but i bought an unlocking cd off ebay that works fine hope this helps it can be used many times

And they tried to charge me TWENTY for it!! I found a few on ebay offering it for only 99p but I need to get the stereo out for the serial number more pissing around!
