I was thinking a while ago about selling the ST for a different (more powerful) car, but that Idea has come and gone now, and I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with the 285bhp mod (re-map, air filter and exhaust) from Code Red tuning. I have heard they are good but, I would like to know about, power delivery, traction in the wet, general stuff about how it affects the car rather than just how much quicker it is (though I would like to know that as well).

Thanks I'll have a check there, I was just interested to see if anyone here was running this mod.

im sure you would be better off getting yourself a pro alloy or forge intercooler, full s/s exhaust system and sport cat, air filter then getting a dreamscience module and having it custom mapped to how you want the car to feel. some people like the linear power delivery some like a boost spike. but with these mods and the dreamscience you have the scope to change the turbo if you ever fancy more power and custom map it to suit. 350bhp without having to crack open the engine.

indeed they do, except they will try and sell you a code red kit as that is what they are dealers for and not dreamscience. and as far as i know the code red ones are not mappable.

why not just change out the management system completely to something more flexible to what you need rather than relying on something off the shelf so to speak that way it will be done to whatever you want think this may even be more cost effective in the long run

Thanks for the replies, seems there is plenty to think about. I can't see me replacing the turbo to be honest, as that is when it starts getting very very expensive, with those sorts of power levels I'd have to start thinking about brake upgrades aswell.
