A little late in posting these but, in case anyone is interested, here are a few pics from the Helmingham Hall Festival of Classics meet that took place on the 3rd of August in Suffolk. Of interest in the TVR department was a rare, original Griffith.

Nice pics and what a lovely setting. I've never heard of Helmingham Hall what a beautiful place for a car gathering.

I'm sorry about that my Lord. I didn't know you were a PistonHeader! (tugs forelock smilie)

I did think about saying if you could spot anything metallic down the drive, it was just bits of your exhaust! Didn't want to open up that old wound.
Never the less mate, you can take satisfaction from knowing your sprint down the drive was, IMHO, the most impressive of the afternoon for speed and noise; well at least it was until the 'graunch' at the bottom of the dip.

i'm realy glad that i didn't saw off the excess on the rear exhaust mounting bolt now.

If you look realy closely you'll see theres 3 sets of 10mm wide furrows where it bottomed out and started plowing!!The crowd were sympathetic,I believe..
