The LS series of engines will fit into a Speed Six Tuscan...........IF.......you cut the chassis rails.
But by those rules so would any bloody engine you want.
The exhaust manifolds are the problem.
They will not clear the standard Tuscan top rails.
The T chassis cars do NOT have a symmetrical chassis.
Then there is the problem of running the air con pump.
This makes the engine that bit too long.
Further more the Mark 2 Tuscan will make the job that much harder again, by the way that the steering column is laid out, as indeed will the other T chassis cars. Not the same as the mark 1 Tuscan.
I have been hearing over and over again that this or that will work.
Well how about someone doing it and not just talking about it?
If talking got the job done then there would be dozens of them out there.
How many are there?
Oh yes, that's right NONE!
Just my SBC Chevy Tuscan and 3 others that I have built and my friend Graham who has a Small Block Ford Tuscan.
By the way......my Tuscan does NOT..... repeat NOT now run a cast iron SBC.
It runs a Mowtown all alloy SBC LS 427ci motor with LS heads.
These engines run at 650HP or 795HP normally aspirated.......like I give *uck about the LS motor"!

Mad Mitch.
You are clearly MISSING the point!
Yet again.........the Chim does NOT have a "T" chassis.
Your car has a V8 engine in place, where a V8 engine came out. That is all. That is NOTHING like putting a V8 into a Tuscan.
The question was...............has anyone put a V8 in the TUSCAN yet.............and someone asked why I no longer post with my build project?........Jeeeeez!

Is that you contribution to this topic?
There are years and years of rubbish posts on this forum.
Stick to the point in question.
Pub talk is very cheap. Let me see the mythical LS engine Speed Six Tuscan. I have heard so many times that so and so is doing this or that. But guess what? It NEVER happens! NEVER!
You see, I have actually built some V8 Tuscans. They are REAL.
Remember the Phoenix Project...........it was going to have one engine for road use one for Drag Racing etc, etc. Well I've seen it. What a joke that is. It's a box of bits 4 years on and a very sad shell with stupid large wheels going rusty. Sitting in the corner of a work shop covered in junk!
That guy also told me how to do everything. But again, his car never got built.
What a surprise.
Stop talking and build the bloody cars, if you can.
Anyone can put a V8 in where a V8 came out.
Speed Eight.

The Phoenix project has to do with the rubbish crap posts that keep coming up here year on year, and people who are dreaming telling people who have actually done the work how to do it.
He told me how to do it!
You only have to look at when I use to post and everyone and his dog new better, even though I am the ONLY one to have built the SBC Tuscan.
They ALL new better than me of course......go read the thread and you will see.
