OK so this stuff relies on getting a donor car for some of the panels... if it is £7k for that, I would struggle to see this work being shy of £10k then. I know this requires a great deal of skill... I just think £10k is a lot for a sunroof. I can't see a huge amount of difference in the car from a std Sag. I realise there are prob many differences however, it just doesn't look different to me, and I am not a TVR outsider.
Not sure I understand your point.
A standard Sag is £35K or more.
This is sub £20K.
But if it dont float your boat then thats fine.
I am not sure I get this at all. Are you saying someone could just come along with £20k and buy this car, or do they need a Tuscan plus £20k. I thought this was modifications done to a customer car (e.g. Sag that someone wanted to open-top), not a write-off. If it is a Tuscan made to look like a Sag then I it sounds like the same sort of thing as a Toyota MR2 'Ferrari' to me. Still, I'll leave it there, I am not trying to subvert anything.
Its all explained above - but here goes. Take one damaged Tuscan (possibly a front and rear crash). This is worth about £7k.
Add a Sagaris front and rear end, paint the car, do some other stuff to suspension etc and hey presto you have a sub £20K Tuscan/Sagaris. As JR pointed out you could also spend some money on the engine. Yes it isnt a Sagaris AND it is not a project to add a sunroof to a Sag.
I think it looks fab.

It does look fantastic.
Got me wondering how difficult it would be to add a removable roof panel to the T350....

Yes I know there is the Targa option but that never really worked for me. I do miss my old Tuscan's removable roof in this weather.

I saw it in the plastic a few weeks ago. Looks brilliant! The pictures don't really do the colour justice.

I think it looks fantastic but looking at those pics at Raceproved, what is going on with the trnsmission tunnel by the handbrake? There appears to be the handbrake, a repositioned gear know with no room to move and what I would suggest it a sequential shifter?

I think its a line lock? I could be wrong! Its a device to lock up the front wheels.

even with a handbrake like that with an extra leverage point the lock up potential would still be poor if it uses the shoes inside the drum like the cerbs. ideally you need that lever to be hydraulically tapped into the calliper and not the handbrake shoes.

i had a passenger ride (drift track day) in a bmw e30 with 535 engine, the chap had a hydraulic non lock/ non ratchet handbrake, and i was shocked at how easy he could get the back end out with it going 50mph+_ with small e30 rear callipers
