Can I just confirm the TVR boys won't feel too offended being offered a passnger seat in a Boxster?
As mentioned previously my Chim is currently in for repairs so I'll be in the hire car for the day.....

One for the TVR ladies and those considering a post TVR hairdressing career maybe?

Hmmmm!! Can't see too many factory workers wanting a career change in that way so think I'll stick to offering a ride to any ladies who happen to be present!

You have probably already thought about this, but it might be an idea to have a dedicated parking area at "The Ace" for all the workers convoy cars. It'll be easier for them to locate a car then.

Also would it be an idea to let all the workers cars go first?

This way we can a) Get media coverage as they will be the first 50-100 cars through, representing the human face of TVR. If anyone is covering the event/taking photos in Whitehall they may want to get the "workers travelling to London" slant on any photos.

and b) It will ensure we are back in plenty of time for their coaches.

I can imagine the cars at the back of the convoy being there for a while. It took me an hour in normal traffic to get from The Ace to Whitehall last week. If you are behind 350 cars, I wouldn't guarantee on being back before 5pm.

Just a suggestion.

All well and good worrying about who wants a lift in a Porsche but how do I make sure that I'm giving a lift to a genuine TVR worker and not some perv hangin about wanting a lift with a female driving a TVR!!!? Help!!!!

Good point - If they are genuine TVR workers they will have been given a ticket for food and drinks from the Ace. Only workers will get hold of these tickets. If you prefer come and find me, I will be near to the coaches with the workforce and I will help you out.

Oh and I'll make sure to wear a name badge!

Kirsty - on a similar note, how do I ensure that my TVR worker's seat is allocated to a genuine female perv?
