Okay. I haven't worked out the nett value (donations minus paypals processing fees) but the gross value is now over two thousand pounds

Keep bumping the figure up please people, it's looking good.

Surely setting up a just giving site would have been better ??

That way everyone could see the running totals ??

Hindsight is great Hughsie. This was done at the drop of a hat by very willing volunteers.

I'm sure if you want to apply yourself and get one set up and posted we could change the link rolleyes

I don't see your name on the attendance list, is this post your complete contribution to the cause?

Theres nothing stopping you taking the decision to post the amount so far onto a Just giving site so people can see it - you'd also get a whole lot more money back with the tax etc/no paypal fees - it was constructive, not a piss take and wasnt a critiscism

My contribution to the cause was cancelling my Sagaris after the decision was taken to close the factory, but that was my personal decision - anyone on these forms knows how commited i have been towards the TVR Marque and the TVRCC and how much advice i give out on these forums - my personal commitment has been behind the scenes - one that maybe you dont see as much as others do rolleyes

I have read your post several time now, and looking at your choice of words, in conjunction with this being the first time i have seen you posting on the London Thunder topics, i'm sure you can see how i could have interpreted this as "having a go".

If that is not the case, as you say, then i apologise for rising.

There have been many people working almost round the clock to make this event a memorable day for all attendees, i guess i'm tired and sensitive. Sorry to hear about your Saggy.

Well done Andy, many thanks.
I'm sure there will be a couple of snaps - keep an eye on the news, you never know. I don;t think London has encountered 400+ TVRs before - someone might notice!

As some people are asking where to make additional donations to the fund, I thought I would bump this back to the top. thumbup
